This is a single loud, buzzing, churning refrigerator. Whirlpool/Amana did a nice job configuring the shelves -- specifically the door shelves, which are generously sized and adjustable. But this unit rivals a dishwasher with regard to the noise.
A sheet metal panel in the back of the freezer naturally buzzes and vibrates due to its design, and the compressor itself is incredibly audible following 1 day of continuous use. Undoubtedly it's new so I can't comment on durability, but it doesn't seem as though everyone tested it before it was shipped.
The price on Amazon looks great. I paid slightly additional from House Depot, even though installation was included in the cost. Nonetheless now I am faced with the hassle of acquiring it replaced or repaired.
I am surprised that refrigerators aren't much better created and built immediately after decades of refinement. If I had it to do over once again, I would decide on a unique model.
